Mr. Nabili I am sure is highly qualified and clearly skilled at his job. However, he spoke to me in a manner which made me feel as though he was my personal friend. Totally down to earth and to the point. He was patient enough to listen fully to my concerns and able to assure me that all would be well. As a retired Police Officer with almost 30 years of service I cannot help but to notice how people interact with each other. I watched as Mr. Nabili spoke to other hospital staff and patients. I am unsure how to put into words my thoughts, but I never thought that Mr. Nabili considered himself in some way more important than anyone else. Nor did I feel that anyone he spoke with considered themselves lesser than he. It was pleasing to me that the impression I got was one of a team, all kicking in the same direction. Working together the job gets done. I cannot speak highly enough of this hospital and its staff. Almost a pleasure to be poorly. Even the cleaning lady, although busy, took the time to briefly speak with everyone on the ward. That is how we make friends. She also did a top job of her cleaning.

Over the last year I have had two cataract operations, each performed by Mr Nabili. I am so delighted by the result and can now see well without the need for any correction apart from when reading. The world has come back into focus and I can see colours in their full glory. Mr Nabili is skilled and knowledgeable in his field. I found him most professional in all aspects of his work, He has a good team and listens to his patients. Due to the administrative difficulties experienced due to covid and because I don't live in the normal catchment area of the hospital, I did not receive a follow up appointment after my first operation. I reported this to Mr Nabili during my assessment visit for my second operation. He took the time and trouble to personally ensure that I was given the follow up appointment for the second operation. I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Nabili and his team for the improvement in my vision.

Where do I start.. The Corneal abrasions on my eyes were that frequent and severe I was having trauma most weeks in the end. Aside from the pain this made my eye and half my face swell up so I could not see or lift my head without a struggle. This had occurred for over a year now and was having an impact with my family and profession. It was at this point I was sent to Mr Nabili and his team, what a difference and I am hugely grateful. The instant care on my eye, ducts and a change in medication started the recovery to present day. I felt the team went above and beyond for me and it felt very personnel with a drive to succeed, I cannot thank them enough. Unfortunately due to the weakness on the worse eye, due to the frequent abrasions tears, Mr Nabili had to perform an operation. A few days before the operation I had a tear and although the swelling had gone down it was very sensitive and no doubt made the procedure more difficult. The care on the day was fantastic and supportive with the operation a success. The honest feedback and guidance for aftercare whilst recovering was also a credit to Mr Nabili and his team. This was four years ago!! Still with some aftercare checking on my condition which is fantastic and although I have never had anything as severe as the frequent abrasions and trauma at the start of this journey I still have a number to call if this occurs again. My eyes will always require lubrication highlighted early in my treatment due to my tear ducts but I will take that any day!! I would just like to thank Mr Nabili and his team for the care and success with myself throughout this period, it is second to none. Thank you. Mr Bowden

I am very impressed with the care I got today More information which I understood which I have not had before
